When looking at cheap patio furniture, make sure the furniture has quality and will last more than 2 years. You will not be saving any money if you have to replace your furniture every couple of years. With proper maintenance, patio furniture should last at least 5 years if not more.
What type of furniture are you looking for. If you like wood furniture but don't like the cost of teak, look at Yellow Balau (shorea) wood or cedar. Both have similar qualities to teak and at a lower cost. If you like plastic furniture make sure it is not the cheap plastic chairs that you get at the dollar store. A good plastic furniture is thick and will last a life time but you will have to pay a little more. But is much nicer to know that when a person sits down in your quality chair, that it is not going to break under their weight.
If you like metal furniture, look at iron furniture than is powered coated instead of cast aluminum. Iron is great for furniture. It is heavy and strudy and can take the weight and the wind on your patio. The only problem with iron is rust. Make sure that you take good care to of the paint. As long is the paint is on the iron, rust will not come. As soon as scratch or dent the paint on your furniture the rust will begin. Immediately fix the scratches so that rust will not ruin your patio furniture.
Check the manufacture's warranty on the patio furniture. Standard warranty for patio furniture is usually 1 year. For good quality patio furniture, the warranty is between 3 and 5 years. If cannot find the warranty information on the website, call or email to find out more information. If you find that cheap patio furniture without a warranty, stay away from the furniture.
