What's the point of having a deck if it’s just an empty space? To enjoy your deck to the fullest you'll want to decorate it with various items from things that are simply for looks to practical items. That's where deck decor comes in.

Another fun idea: mount a television and enjoy the best thing about the indoors, outdoors. Invite the fellas over and kick back with some beers while watching a baseball game. Just remember to have your TV protected which means it should be under some sort of covering.

Add a splash of color to your deck by adding cushions to deck furniture. Use colors and patterns that compliment the style of your home. If you live in a modern home try bold colors. For a country home floral patterns are beautiful. A traditional brick house will look lovely with classic colors like white, black and beige. Make it a place that you want to spend time in. Think of it in the same way as you do about decorating the inside of your house. In some ways it's even more important since not everyone will come inside your house but neighbors and other passersby will see the outside of your house. Make a good impression and make your house stand out on the block.
